I am so sad about Luizinho's performance. He couldn't compete in the first events because of his injury. And now, can't qualify.

He is going to miss the Olympics... fortunately we have a plenty of good names that can get medal, but for him it might be very painful

Dominica will have at least five athletes (3 in athletics and 2 boxers). I say at least because the Olympic Comittee confirmed to me those 5, meanwhile Panam aquatics says Dominica will also compete in swimming.

    So someone is wrong

I am not sure, I think it is because of the mandatory rule to compete in this Worlds, to be eligible to participate in the Olympics. The same happened with a female brazilian athlete on the lightest weight

Hey! you reminds my Spanish teacher at school! He was Chilean too

Would you like to share the ideas that you already had? Then we could think in new perspectives! Maybe @LDOG@konig and @NMQ may give you a better perspective, once they are Argentinians.

I would suggest you try to introduce new disciplines, sometimes the children don't know the hall of sports that they could explore or even find out a hidden passion! Usually, the kids are stucked in Football, Basketball... and those disciplines that they are used to watch on TV or something like that.

For instance, I discovered the world of winter sports only at 14! I didn't even realized the possibility of having actual competitions in it until the moment I saw some events in Turim 2006. But, it may have happened because I am brazilian, and at that time we didn't have so many places to practice some kind of winter sports haha

Here are the restrictions for the draw

The four hosts will be immediately allocated to the tournament taking place in their country. USA and France can not be drawn in the same Tournament.
There must be a minimum of one and a maximum of two European teams in each Tournament. China and Japan cannot be drawn in the same Tournament. Australia and New Zealand cannot be drawn in the same Tournament. The two African teams must be drawn in the same Tournament to ensure that all Regions are represented at the Olympic Games. There must be a team from Americas in each Tournament.
This restricts the draw quite a bit.

For example, must be in the same group as . From there the other two teams can be a combination of

    's group can only be
    AM1 AM1   AM2   AM2
    's group can only be

    's group can only be
    AM1   AM1   AM1 AM2

Nigeria and Senegal are severely restricted with only two possible outcomes. France and Americas 2 will also be in the same tournament

nothing confirmed yet, Wikipedia is saying a diving cup between 18-30 of Nov without specifying the venue.

a side note: 18th to 30th for 4 diving disciplines !!! ..the only way this date range is correct if China will participate ..as a whole nation

Not only Victor, but any athlete from USA is ineligible at men's side.

There's a rule that every country only can get its second quota through OQS.

Here’s the full list.  If I’ve made any mistakes, feel free to correct me.

Archery- Top NOC in the mixed team event will earn one men’s and one women’s quota for Paris. Top two athletes in the men’s and women’s individual events will earn one quota for Paris, providing their NOC has not already secured a quota in that gender.  (USA and Mexico will be ineligible in the women’s event, while Canada and Brazil will be ineligible in the men’s event)

Artistic Gymnastics- Top ranked athlete in the men’s and women’s individual all-around events qualify their NOC to Paris. (USA, Canada, and Brazil will be ineligible in the women’s event, while USA, and Canada will be ineligible in the men’s event)

Artistic Swimming- Top ranked NOC in the team event will earn an Olympic quota in both the team and duet events. Top ranked NOC in the duet event which has not already qualified will also book their ticket to Paris.

Boxing- Top two athletes in all weight classes (Except women’s 57kg and 60kg, where it’s top four) qualify themselves to Paris.

Breaking- Top ranked B-Boy and B-Girl qualify for Paris. (USA is ineligible for a quota on the men’s side, as B-Boy Victor already qualified through World Championships, and the second slot can only be obtained through the OQS)

Diving- Top ranked athlete in all four individual events will earn a Paris quota for their NOC, as long as the divers have not already secure a quota at the World Aquatic Championships.

USA and Mexico are ineligible in men’s 3m springboard, along with Colombia’s Daniel Restrepo. Equestrian- Jumping- Top three NOCs in the team event will qualify for Paris. Top three eligible athletes (having not qualified a team) in the individual event will secure a quota for their NOC. The last remaining 9 women's olympic teams quotas are going to:

So my predictions about the quotas where right, unfortunely  lost the figth for the three last quotas to .

And as I predicted  couldn't qualify without Malewski and Seitz, but they fought bravely and almost managed to do it, as did in the men's category, which also came in 13th place without Souza and Zanetti, if these two teams had all their gymnasts they would certainly have made it.
