  1. Again bad draw for Del Potro in Miami R2 vs Federer. He will never grow in ranking like this
  2. Well, whatever small dream our handball team had for Rio is over: Diego Simonet broke his cruciate ligament and is out for 8 months.
  3. Again with this question... There will be quarterfinals, just check anywhere that isn't Wikipedia.
  4. American qualifier is over, 5 quota for us. Good job.
  5. And why you care? it's not like boxing has few quota compared to many other sports. 22-28 per category and there are many chances to qualify, global and continental. If a country cannot even qualify 1 with these favorable conditions, then there's nothing to do. They should wait for a tripartite then.
  6. Hasn't anyone noticed how Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern make the quarterfinals every year and they NEVER draw each other in this phase? lol, suspicious at the very least.
  7. Well, 3/8 for us in semifinals. Martínez (-52), Melian (-56) and Peralta (-91) are qualified for OG. Only Blanc (-49) and the girl Sánchez (-60) are out of OG, the other 3 losers will have chance in 3rd place match.
  8. 8 argentinians in semifinals... hosting this event was the best decision our NOC has made in years
  9. oops confused.
  10. Two things: First, there is continental quota in only in 4 categories. Second, in singles there are 9 WCh quotas and 3 additional for Europe, the strongest continent. In Lwt doubles there are 11 WCh quotas and 2 additional for Europe. So, if you are european, you can qualify as long as you are among the best 12/13 in the world. We can't say the olympics haven't the best competitors.
  11. Juan Del Potro, unless a miracle happens.
  12. Palmetta is still in QF though. I forgot about Espindola who also is in semis.
  13. Both Melian and Peralta in semis I think both will qualify now. I hope we can get one girl too (60kg).
  14. 1 - Volleyball 2 - Football (not at the olympics, but I have to be sincere) 3 - Handball 4 - Hockey 5 - Archery
  15. So far this year everyone is in terrible form so 3-4. 1 or 2 team sport, 1 individual and 1 surprise.
  16. 17. Del Potro-Mayer def. Dodig-Melo 6-3 6-2 Could this be the birth of a golden couple?
  18. 9-0 lol I think PSG currently is only worse to Barca and Bayern, with Madrid it's 50/50 I'd say.
  19. Compensation for the stupid draw and the bullshit rules of country quota. No guilty feelings here.
  20. Bowl Quarterfinals (9-16): Kenya vs France Argentina vs Russia England vs Portugal Canada vs Brazil Cup Quarterfinals (1-8): Fiji vs USA South Africa vs Wales New Zealand vs Samoa Australia vs Scotland
  21. The top ten door is closed to delpo for now. Hope he gets a good draw for Miami so he can build ranking and improve backhand.

  24. From now on enough with the condescending way of addressing others, behave like grown ups. If not, I'll have to intervene.
