    I've changed my mind; I hope the USA wins the worst group instead of Brazil, and gets eliminated in the first round. What a boring event.

    When did this sport become so predictable? Well, there have always been some teams that stood out, but I don't remember there being as much technical difference as there is today between the European teams themselves.

    It's complicated. There are only 4 decent women's futsal teams in the world and one of them is banned (Russia). Well, we'll have to wait for the semifinals to see any good matches in this tournament.

    Just like our boys did this year, we also beat for the first time in history in the women's competition. I'll take this as revenge for the men's beach volleyball.

    I'm impressed with Spain's women's team; their results in recent tournaments weren't good, but I imagine losing to the Faroe Islands wasn't part of their plan.

    I agree, but I would still rather face Qatar, Uzbekistan, or South Africa than them.

    It makes no sense that Argentina has to face Italy while Germany faces, let's say, Curaçao, for example. Every seeded team should face at least one weak opponent in their group.

    Two teams in the women's semifinals. It's a shame that Duda/Ana Patricia got injured; I wouldn't be surprised if we had three teams there (despite the dangerous American pair). Melissa/Brandie were unlucky; I think they would have done better against Thamela/Victoria or the Latvian pair.

    Duda and Ana Patricia are out of the World Championship due to injury. It's a shame, but it was already clear that the players weren't 100%, perhaps it would have been better to take a year off.
