  1. I think I would expect a quarterfinal drama even if it was Poland v Tunisia again.
  2. Tie breik OMG Poland...
  3. Emotional? No, I feel that connection not even for the representatives of my own country. But I had enormous respect for her and I think she will be missed for everything she represented.
  4. I wasn't ready.
  5. It wasn't a great game, but ok. We will need to improve if we want something better in this tournament.
  6. At least we will have a non-european team in the semifinals.
  7. Japan did everything to lose that game. I'm not surprised. But it was a great game anyway.
  8. On other occasions I wouldn't doubt it, but with Slovenia playing at home it will be very difficult for Ukraine. Anyway, I'm more surprised at how Ned beat Argentina and Iran to lose 3-0 in the round of 16.
  9. I wonder what Cuba could do with even a decent setter.
  10. I think Italy losing to China, which is easily the worst team in the competition, will be even worse than Brazil in 2010. (Although Brazil managed to lose 3-0 to them this year).
  11. Finally a really good game for Brazil this year. And finally Fernando can be the starting setter.
  12. Brazil has to change players, I know our new players are not at the same level as we had in past eras, but these superstars like Bruno, Lucas and others haven't been performing well for a long time. About the coach, I pretend he doesn't exist on the team.
  13. Holy hypocrisy of some countries. Anyway, considering the moment I think IPC had no other alternative.
  14. I honestly don't have a thought about all this, but anyway Russia and Belarus were finally banned in volleyball as well. Too bad, I was curious about their team this year, especially after the Olympics. https://www.fivb.com/en/about/news/fivb-declares-russia-and-belarus-not-eligible?id=96823
  15. So tomorrow we play Denmark for the quarter finals. Honestly, for me it's a sure defeat, but I'm still waiting for the miracle.
  16. They could take football away too. I'm sad for boxing, despite Brazil having been robbed several times in these last Olympics, I thought it was cool to watch, much cooler than wrestling, for example.
  17. Brazil extremely dominant in the Women's Street after Tokyo.
  18. And what a result of our archery. A silver from Marcus, a fourth place from our women's team and a fifth place from our men's team (which lost to the unbeatable Korea). Honestly, I don't even know if we'll be able to achieve a similar result someday.
  19. Looking only at this game, defeat is totally unimportant. Mainly that Colombia despite being a decent team, Brazil was totally tired. But I think after all the recent results, the result of this tournament is not acceptable. The mess that was the beach volleyball in this Olympic cycle, the meager results at the base (which are not that recent), the mess that is our national league, with clubs full of debt. What I'm trying to say is that our volleyball management is terrible. The players are not to blame, but someone else is.
  20. Brazil is losing 2-0 to Colombia in the South American Women's Championship with our first team. And I thought that the shame of beach volleyball and men's volleyball were no longer enough. But life teaches that you can always get worse.
