So this whole competition is basically just a regular women's snowboard cross race? All 4 riders are caught up to each other within the first ~20 seconds of the course on every run. 

They should just do one of Doha/Fukuouka in 2023 and move the other to 2029 or something.

Americans need to hit goalie's stick away to score.  Classy.

Canada with a solid start against Germany

I noticed this guy in every single Luge race. always standing there. always "not looking" to the luger at all. always looking to another direction today he is wearing something black but I think he was usually in white.
 
is this a common thing to put a human scarecrow near the luge track ?

Canada is tied for most medals, but just one gold. Just wish we had more gold.

Ok was an interesting premiere of Mixed Teams Aerials, but hopefully this was my first and also the last time I watched this stupidity at the Olympics

Why does China look confused?  It was mathematically impossible for them to surpass the Americans.

This aerials team event was created to give China a gold medal, and as we saw on their first jump they could land on their head and still get that gold (they deserved 1st after the whole round, though).  USA and Canada were both solid, finished very close.  Swiss missed here and there.  It'll be a tough job, but if Canada jumps like they did in the first round they're in great shape.

I remember it happening once but don't remember where/when. The chances are really low of it happening, but they have the race to prevent the scenario (how unlikely it may be) from happening
