Not sure about the validity of this, but a great career nonetheless.

Life is sometimes so cruel...
Today passed away Slovak ice hockey player Boris Sádecký (24 years old).
You may remember him for that incredible goal 4 years ago
He collapsed during the IHL (ex-EBEL) league match last week between Dornbirn and Bratislava Capitals and today came the news he passed away...
2 days before (26th October) the accident he scored a hattrick against Klagenfurt and was so smiley and happy to find back his form...

Unbelievable. literally 8 days after scoring a hattrick the kid died
RIP Boris

Goodbye MP... lol.
Why do we need a triathlon with fencing and laser shooting added to it? There is 0 point...

No less than 6 Frenchmen in Inzell this week-end
WC qualification time in the 1 500m for 21 y.o Mathieu Belloir and several NJR ... do you think anyone will hear about it ? Of course no, the Ice Sports Federation doesn't give a damn, and L'Equipe, a thousand days from Paris 2024 is too busy wanking over Kylian M'Bappé speaking about his participation to the f***ing olympic football tournament
But as we now use to say here "alors peut-être" ...

Matúš Strnisko won in -86kg 3:2 against Rogerio Romero of Mexico.
The next day arrived a letter to our team that after Mexican protest AIBA changed the result 2:3 in favor of the Mexican without possibility of another appeal
Our team only after asking AIBA why we were not informed about the Mexican appeal and the subsequent "investigations" at all, only then received just a official paper stating only sternly that two of the three investigating judges had changed the result of second round in favor of the Mexican. Interestingly enough the judges viewed only the 2nd round not the entire match
Oh man, I love this sport

Okay, it's still early but I tried to calculate the olympic quotas. The qualification system is very confusing so there's a good chance there'll be a few mistakes but it should be hopefully be mostly accurate.

*Note that Korea isn't ranked in the top 8 yet so they'll probably bump out Belgium eventually

If you saw his results at the Challenge Cups after Tokyo, this score would not have been a surprise.

Reading this makes me feel like this student who's struggling to have decent grades, and hears this other guy (who always get excellent ones) moaning about how he failed last test (spoiler alert : he didn't)
Your women's team is basically Kim Boutin and girls whose 500m record is below 43s, which is not an easy feature, with much more experience than what their age could indicate. Charles and Sarault were already on WC podiums 2 or 3 years ago, and Brunelle, although she's still only 17, has reached two top 10 in the last World Champs. Men's team got Charles Hamelin and also Dubois and Dion, the other guys are strong enough to make a relay able to qualify.
Not getting all the quotas would be a crime with such a team ... but if you feel they're not experienced enough, send some here to grab it, they all speak French so it won't be hard to adapt
I'm quite intrigued by China though. They will not take part to the other 3 WC, so unless all 3 of them reach, at least, the semi-finals in each race, they could have trouble getting full quotas. They're already granted participation in the relays and 1 athlete in individual events, but I guess it has extended to 3 since they've decided not to go abroad
