  5. Not discrediting Canada's victory over Serbia, but less satisfying of a win as they were without one of their best players in Boskovic (Without her though, they are still an excellent team).
  6. has qualified their first athletes in football (men's tournament) with a 1-1 (4-3) victory over Guinea in the bronze medal match at the Africa -23 Cup of Nations
  7. They do I believe. For a country like United States though, results probably won't count towards qualification as they'll probably register three athletes in each event through Olympic Trials.
  8. The OQT awards ranking points towards World Rankings. Also counting towards the total are this year's Continental Championships and next year's VNL. So still, a long way to go. About 20 or so matches. Through World Rankings, Africa will be awarded a quota (Assuming they don't qualify through the OQT), so technically we need to reach the top 10 in order to have a chance at qualification.
  9. has qualified their first athlete in athletics (men's 400m) via Steven Gardiner at the Bahamian National Championships

  11. wins the gold medal in the men's 4x100m relay (38.30), finishing ahead of (38.61) and (39.13)
  12. Paulino wins the gold medal (49.95) and goes under the OQS in the women's 400m. Disaster for Cofil as she false starts, and fails to record a mark.
