  1. Klinec 223.5 in the 2nd round and wins Raw Air overall. Two other jumps over 200 meters in the 2nd round - Loutitt 225.0 and Opseth 207.5. The wind could have been better but this is the nature of this sport.
  2. Maryna Gąsienica-Daniel in 4th place after GS 1st run in Soldeu
  3. Yes, it was in the later session. I wonder if they let them use the higher gate tomorrow since technically 230 meters is suddenly feasible
  4. Grotian 5/5 in the prone and only 9.8 behind...
  5. Joanna Jakieła 9/10 and has a rare chance to score points
  6. Petra Vlhova wins the final slalom in Soldeu. First career podium for Leona Popovic in 2nd place
  7. Alexandria Loutitt with the new women's distance record of 222.0 meters Maren Lundby (212.5) and Ema Klinec (203) also over the 200 meter mark in third training session.
  8. Silje Opseth (186.5) won the first training. Also Loutitt (186.5) and Ito (182.5) over 180 meters.
  9. De Cler is only 19 years old, this is surely going to end up bad for someone and I believe it will be bad for the boxer herself.
  10. Can FIE ban the yellow & blue shoes?
  11. Are you ready for AO final rematch though? Elena Rybakina beat Iga Świątek 6-2 6-2 in the second SF.
  12. Men's pursuit and women's sprint are put either side of the cross-country races in Falun. Since Norway can control the Holmenkollen schedule I'm pretty sure they want to avoid TV window clash.
  13. Women's pursuit cancelled like expected. New bibs for the sprint and suddenly everyone goes in Group 1 again Grotian with #71.
  14. I'm pretty sure today's sprint was scheduled so late so it didn't clash with the World Cup cross-country races in Falun. Norwegian TV probably wanted to avoid the overlap. There was no cross country yesterday so men's sprint was not affected.
  15. Women's sprint is postponed for Saturday. Probably no pursuit then.
  16. Start postponed by 30 mins due to fog Here are the men's 2023/24 quota. Due to Russia and Belarus ban some teams obviously profited with extra quotas. On the flip side is Slovakia who had didn't even make Top 20 for the first time in XXI century @hckošice
  17. Women's sprint in Holmenkollen starts in 10 mins. Not many big names choosing Group 1 this time, Wierer #19 and Simon #28 are the only ones in the first 30 bibs. Vittozzi #54, Hanna Oeberg #67, Elvira Oeberg #78, Persson #81 and Herrmann #90 among others. Selina Grotian with #92 on the watch list
  18. The first Fernando Santos call-ups for the and matches. Krychowiak is gone... Ben Lederman from Ekstraklasa leader Raków Częstochowa makes the squad.
  19. Ski Flying for women in Vikersund (no World Cup points). Here's the Raw Air Top 15 (Julia Muehlbacher resigned and Yuki Ito who was DQ in Lillehammer replaced her).
  20. Even a bigger shock - Lech beat Djurgardens 3-0 in the return leg and made the quarterfinals
  21. Indian Wells 1000 SF (three of the four semi-finalists are reigning Grand Slams champions): Iga Świątek (1) vs Elena Rybakina (10) Maria Sakkari (7) vs Aryna Sabalenka (2)
  22. I'm amazed they still keep this crap even for World Cup finals?
  23. It's going down... Aaron Rodgers wants to play for New York Jets Now the usual trade compensation trickery...
  24. Qualifying tournaments will be held in Japan, China and Brazil from 30 September - 8 October 2023. The group draw will be held on Friday, March 17th. Apparently FIVB might drop the long-standing serpentine rankings system but nobody still knows...
  25. Qualifying tournaments will be held in Japan, China and Poland from 16-24 September 2023. The group draw will be held on Friday, March 17th. Apparently FIVB might drop the long-standing serpentine rankings system but nobody still knows...
