  2. Updated as of 18th April 2016 Concerning African continental quota places it is likely that South Africa will accept both quota as Mari Rabie and Henri Schoeman would both have qualified via the Olympic qualification rankings, therefore it would seem strange to reject the quota, only to be reallocated the same quota again!
  3. 5. UCI announce Cycling Bipartite quota: Men's Netherlands +2 China +1 Dominican Republic +1 Ghana +1 Italy +1 Luxembourg +1 Sweden +1 Women's China +2 Great Britain +2 United States +2 Belgium +1 Canada +1 There were more bipartite quota allocated than expected, this was because some nations rejected the quota they had won through the ranking allocations. These quota places were reallocated to the Bipartite committee: Men's Israel -1 Peru -1 Ukraine -1 Women's Japan -1 New Zealand -1 Slovakia -1
  6. Not yet or officially - they will all be eligible for reallocation, so most of these countries will be awarded a reallocated quota, but we do not know how many reallocated qouta there are or whether each will accept the reallocation.
  7. I believe Macedonia was awarded a Shooting tripartite place and therefore it is not eligible for a reallocation
  8. I am not sure - but if a few nations reject the reallocations then we could reah quite far down the list. should be safe (if they accept). The others will have to wait and see. My quick calculation is: Tripartite reallocation (17 places) ()() (Unlikely to accept) But I am not sure from then on how many reallocated quota are left. So Nepal are a little further off, but with a few remaining quota for reallocation + rejected reallocations they may have a chance.
  9. Yes, hopefully he will have a great 200m Freestyle and 4x200m Relay to make up for the poor result here.
  10. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that in this thread reallocations count as qualified athletes, unlike tripartite invitations. Therefore in Shooting Bangladesh, Pakistan, Malta, Nepal, Kosovo and Nicaragua could be reallocated a quota and thereofre qualify a legitimate athlete (not tripartite).
  11. I've never heard that excuse before! Maybe he had to pull them up halfway through if they had fallen down so that the camera didn't see anything unpleasant
  12. Not yet - when we do I'll update the qualification posts
  13. That's great news! We reached the Semi-Finals at the recent World Championships, so hopefully a good result can regain some government funding for Table Tennis, which currently recieves no government funding, to improve British table tennis in the future.
  14. Does anyone know if GB has qualified a Men's Team in Table Tennis, and if so do we compete with 2 athletes or are we allowed a third?
  15. I think you are 100% right about the UK jury - the head of our jury has publically said that she just wants someone shy to stand there and sing and that she dislikes any gimmicks on stage? It will be between Poland and Lithuania for our televote - it is every year and I doubt it will be any different. Some other interesting patterns you may have not seen Ireland will give lots of points to Latvia Belgium/Netherlands/France will give high points to Armenia The head of the german jury was a judge on the Voice of Germany when the Armenian contestant was competing - so Germany will give lots of points to Armenia as well
  16. Well, my job for posting the results of Rwanda as my "small country at Rio 2016" has just got a lot easier! Rwanda have qualified 4 athletes so far I believe - so they are not at risk of sending nobody to the Olympics. They have the potential to qualify a couple more athletes in athletics (most likely 10000m or Marathon) so we could se a team of around 5 or 6 in the end.
  17. That is a shame, because all competed at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, if they had entered a lower rank event they could have got a tripartite quota.
  18. They won't be known until the 15th and there is a World Triathlon Series race in Yokohama on the 15th, so the rankings could change even on the last day!
  19. FISA Paralympic Rowing Final Qualification Regatta 2016 - Gavirate ASM1x - ASW1x - TAMix2x - LTAMix4+ -
  20. Will the South African men's singles quota be reallocated to Uganda?
