I think this has always been the case in the post-Olympic year. Also, the website has changed a bit in these years, we now have national clubs where users discuss with members of their same country, and we are focusing more on Olympic qualifications pages. From the website traffic I can say it is more visited than in the past (and it's not like I am so much interested in the traffic itself because I do not earn money out of it ), just probably less focused in some discussion threads. The TISC and the Prediction Contests were relying on single users taking care of them, once they loose the motivations (which hopefully is just temporary) it's normal that it's not possible to keep running them. Hopefully @OlympicIRL will find motivations again and I'm sure if this happens the TISC will come back!
