Just got my copy of a new encyclopedia they published on our Olympic history. All 289 medalists featured with their stories, career, memories, results, controversies and a fantastic picture album. I barely started looking at it and can say they have done a great job with it.

both Fencing, women's Judo and men's Skateboarding events can easily have a French medallist, even if they're not the no.1 favourite (at least by now) in any of them. however, I'd be surprised if Boukli (Judo) and at least 1 fencer don't make the podium (at least).

I guess you can always name her in the "any other" option... however, she's not going to win the Olympic Gold...Assunta "Susy" Scutto is the name for that!

yeah, the Gazzetta Awards sucks big time (and basically only 3 sports have been taken into consideration)... those of OA Sport are way, way better, even if I think Motorsports shouldn't even be considered, Goggia and Ganna are way underestimated and I find a pure scandal that Simone Alessio isn't even in the Top 20

I don't follow these sports or weight classes very well. Could one of these judo or fencing events be the first French medal of the Games? Or at least in our simulation, because we don't have any French medals in swimming yet.

I was planning to make some dinner photos as well, and started out well, enthusiastically making a photo of the carpaccio starter....and then suddenly I realized the dinner was over and I had forgotten to take any other photos

I am most looking forward to the world speedskating championships in Heerenveen. I have tickets for the third day and hope to see skating sensation Jutta Leerdam live. A month earlier the first phase of the ticket sales for Paris '24 starts. I wonder if I get the chance to buy some nice tickets. Finally, I'm curious about the development of Dutch talents Tes Schouten (swimming), Joanne van Lieshout (judo), Niels Laros (athletics) and Roos Daleman (handball).
