  4. Official Announcement The opening ceremony will held on Saturday (November 18) at 11:00 AM local time. The Grand Final will be held the following day on Sunday (November 19) starting at 09:00 AM. The team draw will be held on Friday. I willuse a website to assign pairs, and then announce the results (unless anyone else has a better idea). There will be no (or very few) tables and scoreboards used this edition. 8. This weekend it's Beijing time and in terms of entry lists we went back to normal: they were already there on Wednesday, as used to be the case but wasn't for Obihiro. Now the draws are there as well for tomorrow, with the main thing being Olympic 500m champion Gao Tingyu being back in competition for the first time since he took gold in the Olympics almost two years ago. https://live.isuresults.eu/events/2024_CHN_0001/schedule

  10. That's unbelievable. Losonczi clearly pinned the guy and "won" the gold medal. the center ref called it but the other refs decided to not see the obvious! that's what the UWW should investigate and ban that mat chairman. per UWW rules you can't challenge a fall. Hungarian coach couldn't do anything about it. Losonczi lost and per UWW rules nothing can change that. but all of a sudden they came up with something very new! this never happened before. changing the result 2 months after the match?! are they going to "fix" the result in all other matches where bad or mostly corrupt officiating changed the outcome of the match? two wrongs don't make a right

  12. Okay, we're probably looking at another postponement. Tables have become my mortal enemy, and everyone on the organizing side of things is stumped as to why. The tables don't format properly if I use copy/paste or "source" functions. They also don't paste properly if someone else makes them and I post them. I will explore options with @OlympicIRL, and make announcement in the near future (hopefully).

Aha, it looks like it's going to debut the FIS's new brand new All The Stuff We Have That No-One Wants To Pay For YT Channel! 15. Marcelo Martins Moreno played his final match for at La Paz in their 2-0 win over . Moreno has led the line for Bolivia in the last Decade & a half with distinction, scoring goals all across the continental. He is a very popular figure & it was nice to see he got a nice send off in his last home match as an international player.

  21. this round of AFC qualifiers is quite predictable. we almost already know which 18 teams will advance. there are only 2 or 3 questions remain India scored a big big win in Kuwait, probably the only real surprise of the day. Syria also beat PRK Iran started with a 4-0 win against HKG, it's still very hard for me to cheer for this Iran team because I genuinely hate the head coach, he is a kind of mafia boss

  24. I have exactly two reasons in my life to use Mozilla FireFox: to use the website of the Dutch train service NS which for whatever reason doesn't work on my laptop on Edge (it refuses to scroll down, no idea what the issue is with that specific site).....and for formatting stuff on Totallympics, 99% of which is indeed around the song contest

  28. Curling is a fantastic sport to watch. But it's way too costly. I personally watch few group games, SF, Finals. So for 6 games not worth paying recast.

  29. Here is the list of qualification events. I don't see the Texas Hall of fame event on the list currently although it's possible it could be added later. Either way it's nice to see him progress. Hopefully he can get the OQT soon.

  32. I never thought I'd spend a whole night watching a tennis match, but yesterday I couldn't switch TV channel from the great battle between Sinner & Djokovic wow! just wow! that was quite an entertaining 3+ hours of sport at the very top level Today I'm watching the 1st semifinal of the Cricket World Cup...not exactly the match I expected, it's pretty much one-sided so far, unfortunately

  33. In the end, the match is going to be played in Sofia after all, how it should have been intended from the beginning... The whole circus shebang in the last 6 days served no purpose, beside further establishing the BFU as a laughing stock and angering whos who here, all the way to the Prime Minister, who shared his opinion, that it's time they resigned. But since UEFA has strict regulations of Governments interfering in the National bodies, he can only share an opinion. I saw today the Hungarian Federation have rightfully belittled the BFU as complete morons. They should have done it earlier. The match is still going to be behind closed doors, but the fans are continuing with their protest plans. The Hungarian fans are also invited to join, which from what i've seen is guaranteed to happen.

  35. World Curling says the Olympics channel will be live-streaming select games. Unfortunate that all matches aren’t on YouTube, I love curling but I’m not paying 20€ to get a 14 day Recast pass. I’m not the only one, I’ve seen lots of complaints from other curling fans, and World Curling still won’t do anything
