Looking at the events to come, Montelibretti is hosting a pretty sizeable show this week with riders from chasing points. Portugal and Thailand are indeed pretty close to the qualification zone, as is Morocco in Group F. This is in fact the final qualifying event in Europe so it will be now or never for these. Otherwise, South Africa is hosting an event where Jessica George will be potentially looking to secure a second individual quota (pending on what happens in Montelibretti as well). Florida will be hosting an event mid-November with possible Latin American interest, while both Brazil and Chile will be hosting events in December where the final outcome of the Latin American individual quotas will be decided.2 points

Team qualification for eventing is now over. Individual qualification simulation as of October 31st... Group A - Group B - Group C - Group D - N/A N/A Group E - Group F - Group G - Overall - Reallocation (provisional) - Qualification system is very unclear on whether the Groups D/E are combined or not. You'd assume they must be, but the FEI is keeping the rankings separated on their website. At any rate, if Groups D & E are combined, then would qualify instead of .2 points

Athletics Qualification to Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024

I think I've commented elsewhere on UK Swimming's selection policy - long story short, I am not a fan. There is no rational justification for putting an arbitrary cap on the number of athletes that you are willing to take - especially when you set that cap a year ahead of the selection event. Looking at the times so far in the qualifying window I think you are probably right and there will be some athletes who achieve the 'OCT' but don't ultimately make it on to the GB team, but I would expect that number to be in the low single digits. I find swimming selection hard to predict because of the level of doubling up that we see but it will be interesting to see how GB Swimming deal with athletes who have the GB qualifying standard in one event but only has the OQT in another - like Freya Colbert who has the GB standard for the 200 Freestyle but not in the 400 Freestyle - will they select them to the team and allow them to compete in all of the events where they have the OQT or will they restrict them to the events where they have the British standard. I get the impression that the selectors already know who they want to take, and they have shown that when those athletes don't quite perform as expected, they will be willing to move the goalposts so whilst the policy might say that you have to achieve the qualifying time in the final, they have left themselves with enough flexibility to take the athletes that they want to.2 points -

I would like to present the most famous "electronic music" of China, opening song of Journey to the West (1986 version). Journey to the West is the most famous Chinese mythical novel, its characters and songs are known to almost every Chinese. And its mythological characters like the Monkey King are always popularly cosplayed on Halloween in China. Xu Jingqing - Sound of Heavenly Palace opening song of Journey to the West2 points

My second song is not as sad as the first one. In fact, is quite comic since it’s from South Park. But it is also quite deep, and if you listen to it carefully, you will realize there the true meaning of the song: we are all going to die, so don’t give too much relevance to things that do not have importance and enjoy all the time you have with those you like, because they will also going to die. “It might happen in a couple months Or 50 years from now But no matter when it happens It will seem too soon to you So be sure on Christmas Eve When you snuggle into bed That you thank God for your family 'Cause someday they'll be dead” South Park - Dead, dead, dead1 point -

PSV beat Ajax 5-2 and now, I kid you not, Ajax is in 18th and last place in the competition They were absolutely destroyed by German Sven Mislintat, who for whatever reason was appointed technical director last summer, used his shady contacts to come up with a lot of very shady deals for unknown players through one of his own companies (20 million for Josip Sutalo of GNK Dinamo, 16 million for Georges Mikautadze of FC Metz, 12.5 million for Gaston Avila of Antwerp, 8 million for Borna Sosa of Stutgart etc...he spent a whopping 92 million for a bunch of players, almost all of whom actually said they never expected to end up at Ajax (duh, nobody did)). When the shady dealings through his company came to light, it didn't take long for Mislintat to be kicked out, but that really was too late and now they've gotten a grand total of 5 points in 8 matches1 point
