I don't think, given the 2 lifter limit, that it's automatic UKR take the spot, and COL's team ban request has come in, I believe...

according to our Ukrainian friend @Illya here that they will pick this weight.

"In the absence of a Continental Quota Place (Africa), the further decision will be announced later."

I am getting the feeling we aren't getting this quota... If it would be as clear as a reallocation to the highest ranked athlete, they would have probably already announced it.

to me that's very clear but you never can be sure about anything with these rules

Quote

1) Reallocation of quota place from World Points Any available quota place from World Points will be reallocated to the highest ranked athlete according to the latest, updated Absolute Ranking (World Points) if eligible according to the Qualification System, whose NOC is not yet qualified in the bodyweight category; subject to the maximum quota per NOC.

2) Reallocation of quota place from Continental PointsAny available quota place from Continental Points will be reallocated to the highest ranked athlete  from  the  same  Continent  according  to  the  latest,  updated  Absolute  Ranking (Continental Points) if eligible according to the Qualification System, whose NOC is not yet qualified in the bodyweight category; subject to the maximum quota per NOC. In  case  there  is  no  eligible  athlete  from  the  same  Continent,  the quota  place  shall  be reallocated according to the Reallocation of quota place from World Points.

If it's that obviously stated in the qualification system, I am not sure what they are waiting for. I sure hope that Nagy and the other athletes won't have to wait until July for the reallocations to be announced.

    • I think I can live with the draw , not a bad group at all. just a week ago our mafia coach said his dream group is Belgium, Egypt and Haiti, he almost got that !   but it's really hard for me (and so many others) to cheer for this team, A mafia boss coach, disgusting group of players. I never had this feeling about any NT in any sport before but still the national team is the national team. you have to like it  coaches and players come and go, the team is what matters.   if the team makes it to the competition, I'm sure there will be lots of Iranians in the stadium despite the orange's ban, that will never be a problem.
    • Belgium is the luckiest in this story
    • One of the worst possible draw for us. Group really easy but having to face  or  in the Round of 32 is devastating.
    • Always dreamed Gretzky will draw Slovakia was another moment I can already remove from my things to do before die list
    • Finland have been awful in almost all winter sports, well beside ice hockey and cross-country from time to time, for a lot of years. It's very good to see them building people to challenge for wins again. Their new coach has done wonders it seems.
    • 14th June in Philadelphia against Cote d´Ivoire   20th June inToronto against Curacao   and 25th June in Philadeplphia to kick out  home    Not easy, but not the most difficult group. Should be okay. Vamos
