Athletics Qualification to Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games

Lol @ the improvement of the British women in the 400 m hurdles. Turner improved her PB by 1 second at 25, Nielsen improved her PB by almost 1.5 seconds at 25 and Knight improved by 0.5 seconds at 26. Not fishy at all to have three different athletes in the same discipline all destroying their PB in the same year.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

Not really since they are all 400m runners who have turned to 400m hurdles. Fairly rapid improvements are not unexpected in such circumstances.

Agreed, plus some people didn't have chances to compete much in 2020 and underachieved then (if they even competed at all!)

Sorry. You're right. I typed the time of 4th place finisher instead of Bird, who finished 3rd and also typed 8 minutes instead of 9. I must been thinking of the men's times

No problem. For a while there, I thought the women were now running faster times in the event than our national record in the steeplechase.
