Men's 200m T13

Jason Smyth was really safe. He finished his lap of honour right in front of a group of kids (Primary schools got free tickets, as did public sector workers - my dad works on the Tube so it's how we got in) and they all wanted them to sign stuff, take photos, give high fives. It was lovely to see that that generation didn't see him as any different to anyone else, just a sporting hero like Usain Bolt or Cristiano Ronaldo. Me and my dad also got a pic with him.
