Huge win for Germany even without injured Franz Wagner who should be able to continue in the tournament. Still, everything opet between Australia, Germany and Slovenia for 2 QF spots there. Germany now with a small advantage but 3pt win isn't too big in a potential 3way tie.

Don't see Slovenia close to Germany or Australia, but we will see. Last year at euros even Giannis and Jokic with a better supporting cast couldn't win a medal. Slovenia is basically dogshit apart from Doncic, he would probably have to have a historic game for them to beat Australia/Germany (which sadly isn't impossible for him). Crazy that Germany won without Wagner, with Bonga missing half of the game with a "concussion", with a lot of questionable calls at the end (carrying call against Schröder, Schröder not being out of bounds) and with Australia shooting 47 % from three.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

big big win for Japan. they will most probably take the Asian quota and they fully deserved it. their group is much tougher than other Asian teams (maybe except Lebanon) yet they managed to beat an European team.

nothing is impossible but can't see this Japan not winning 2 more games in the losers group.

Schroder was out of bounds, for a milimeter but he was. Also, he always carries the ball, they just decided to call this time in an unfortunate moment.

    • Exactly. Recent developments of the construction haven't been particularly encouraging, and while they'll probably get everything sorted just in time, a lot of North American fans have been quite vocal about every minor inconvenience.

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
