I'm a bit late but congratulations to Serbia for the win, it's always nice when a song you enjoyed and voted for wins the contest

 

Thank you to everyone who voted for Woodkid, I knew I wanted to use that song since January so I was really impatient to see how well it would do!

 

I'm really glad about Malta winning their first ever medal, because it's a country that always chooses nice songs IMO so it's cool to see that they're finally being rewarded.

Alright, time to send my congrats to @heywoodu for hosting the contest. It's nice to have a contest in the Netherlands (since we couldn't have Eurovision this year lmao thanks COVID). My congratulations to @NikolaB on your win and to @intoronto and especially @Glen for your podium finishes.

 

As for our entry, I can't say I'm disappointed, but I thought we would've done better. We would' explore filing lawsuits to contest this, but then again, we couldn't get our presser location right and we ended up at Four Seasons Total Landscaping Hotel in Philadelphia, so our lawsuits aren't going anywhere.

God* - here refers to peace as God is considered a symbol of piece irrespective of religion

 

hands dirty with blood* - killing people over religious beliefs / majority religious group dominating minority and vice versa  by killing etc

Summary 

 

The song cleverly starts with why faith is important to live on earth but questions people for fighting and creating violence over religious beliefs. 'Peace' is considered like god and maintaining peace is utmost important.It says everyone has their right to their own beliefs but  unity, harmony and especially peace is considered top priority  in life and one shouldn't impose their  religious ideologies on others.
