Jens Weinreich is kind of a loudmouth, but he does know his things about what's going on in sports politics. And it does have kind of the same issues as canoe slalom in the summer games (expensive venue that a lot of countries wouldn't use after the Games)

Duncan also suggests a few summer sports are on the chopping block including archery and shooting. India will throw more of a tantrum than they did for the Commonwealths!

What is his justification for that as those 2 sports doesn't require a costly venue, ( even temporary arrangements like using Lords in 2012 can be done)  most developed nations already have shooting & archery programmes. 

Also it is   who dominates shooting programmes in olympics  ( Those 2 major power won't let it slide easily) 

 dominates Archery.   don't need to throw tantrums in sports we are not going to dominate & has never medalled in Archery. This is not CWG , it is Olympics!

actually, I already read about axing shooting because of the woke delirium owning the ioc

also the organizers of the Brisbane 2032 Olympics agree because according to some of them shooting has a negative impact on the people and it's seen as an apologize of all the mass killings

they say people shouldn't be allowed to use weapons and the Olympics shouldn't feature activities made with weapons

The sports will be okay for 2030 and 2034 as the facilities are already there. Later on, there might be an interrogation point as german domination is structurally guaranteed to last forever...

2038 is looking like it will go to Switzerland who have a venue as well

They are adding more events to Archery in LA would then look strange to axe it. 
 

We all know a lot of what is proposed won’t happen.

It make nosense for me, besides not being typical winter sports, then how many quotas are used in nordic combined and how many needs volleyball and handball? We would increase of number of quotas in winter olympics, or we will cut tournaments of both sports from 12 teams to 8 or even 6 and having round robin like in basketball 3x3?
