I'm happy that those championships are over, not counting EC in 2012, where most of our the best athletes didn't come, it was the worst championships since 2006 for us in number of winning medals and overall performance. Today "performances" of sprint relays was the best summary of our participation here and it all happens when we did send the biggest team ever...

Besides Kaczmarek's national record and gold medal for Nowicki nothing positive didn't happen here, maybe only surprising Haratyk's medal, but its nothing in comprasion to this how we started in last 10 years. I'm not optimist before Paris.

Also nothing didn't show that in next EC and years will improve as most of our starts will call their careers after Paris and we doesn't have too many good juniors...

I won't be surprised if we will perform better in swimming euro than here....

:ITA final count of medals 24 (record for a single edition), 11 gold (record) 9 silver (record) and 4 bronze

First place in medal table, for the first time and 45 athletes (record) in finals.

National record (NR): 11

Personal best (PB): 16

Despite these good results, all knows that at Paris 2024 will be another type of challenge; but many of our athletes are young and have realized that, with hard work, unexpected results can be achieved.

Very bitter silver medal for the Dutch 4x100m men's team. Sure, silver, nice, but the only thing that counted here was the time and now they only have one chance left (next week) to beat the 38,30 with which they shared 2nd place in the non-qualified ranking with Trinidad & Tobago (but TTO ran it earlier, so is ahead...).

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

But 'running the time of 38.30 earlier'? Does that mean TTO's time of 38.30 qualifies them for the Games, and Netherlands don't (when both teams don't improve the next weeks)?

Seems like, yes. No idea what would otherwise be the tiebreaker (definitely not thousandths)....

well, if it's the same of the World Ranking, they have a really complicated calculation system and a full scale of values from Ranking Score to Performance Score (which is Result Score + Placing Score), taking into consideration not only the time (or measure), but also the final placing in the competition and the category of the meet where the result is achieved

hope they don't have to go down to this tiebreaker, because it could mean a big headache for many people
