  • 2 weeks later...

For some unknown reason, :ESP would be wearing orange and black as our uniform for now on

This is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. Looks like a :BHU uniform lmao

Reaction has been very bad and all athletes hate it.

It's specially bad cause there's a saying in Spain that's "vestir la roja", literally translate to "wear the red" that's use by everyone when talking about representing Spain in a international sporting event. I guess now we are "wearing the orange".... Watch out, :NED.....

Well... I had to see the video to believe it, there is no chance of turning back? Even the spanish athletes are criticizing it on the instagram post :surprise:

At least, the promo is funny, or maybe it's because i know the stremaers and make me laugh idk.

  • 1 month later...

So... using the world athletics top list for this season (except for the walking relay event where I used the World Championship results) and attaching a certain percentage of winning a medal/gold medal to each of the Top 8 athletes (Top 5 for a gold medal), I came up with a table showing the 'expected' medals for each nations at the Olympics.

I don't know really how close to the real medals table this will be, but here it is :)

    • poir Madsen had a very unlucky debut at the CWC he seriously injured himself (dislocated shoulder and possible concussion) in an attempt to save a boundary in the very early stages of Today' match vs Scotland   moreover, Italy lost badly against the Scots, allowing them to score 207 runs in the 1st innings (it took 14 overs to get the 1st wicket) and going well short chasing that score (we immediately saw that today wasn't the day when our lead batsman went out at the very 1st ball thanks to an amazing but improbable catch by a Scottish fielder)   in all this, a couple of highlights to be recorded: Hasan Ali with a very efficient bowling performance (5.25 economy, 1 wicket) and Harry Manenti with good 52 runs in just over 30 balls with the bat
    • The Italian team has already achieved a better result than the Chinese team in 2022 at home. The Italian team has made enormous progress since 2023, when we were still losing to Korea and Poland. Of course, this is mainly due to naturalizations, but China did the same. It's one of the few sports that have made significant progress before these Olympics and this is how it should be in most disciplines at home games.
    • change with given the WBC rosters    ps you forgot (I'd put them at no.5, however)
    • will get bronze.  are going to struggle to come back from such an horrible performance today.
