Once again, an iconic interview. She indeed was yapping for 5 minutes straight and I understood a total of 6 words, but she looked happy.

And to be clear: it's not meant as bashing, I can only imagine how incredibly hard it must be to learn Dutch from Amharic or a language like that. She definitely knows the language well given how 'fluently' she speaks in terms of pace, it's just the pronunciation that's difficult.

By the way, an athlete like Kinzang might not fight for the medals here, she is rather well trained and has massive endurance, judging by things like this:

 

"In 2022, she finished second in the Snowman Race, a five-day event covering 203 kilometers, with the highest point reaching 5,470 meters."

 

It is just a totally different sport than these ultraraces.

Oh no, it’s definitely not meant as bashing. It’s the fact that her mind goes in 20 different directions within a minute. The first sentence of an answer is her answer to the question and then she starts yapping.
