The javelin, yeah i can agree to that, though i fully expect by LA 2028 to see Canadians fighting for medals in the javelin too 

Hopefully! I would say Triple Jump is the weakest discipline in Canada (no wonder Dick Pound pushing for its removal a few years ago...)
