Andersen has been known to sometimes not perform in major Championships (besides at home in 2022), so it might not have made a difference.

Canada has had good sprinters though, so it's not uncommon to think that you can transition such athletes into good horizontal jumpers. 

 

The javelin, yeah i can agree to that, though i fully expect by LA 2028 to see Canadians fighting for medals in the javelin too
