There are 5  divers in entry list for that event. I wonder if they will have chance for qualification as they were good in this sportin past, but it's unsure how they will perform after long absence from worldwide competition.

Great prelim competition for her so far, she was really focused and it showed her talent, impressive

Good start for Mexican divers: Aranza Chavez made it in the 1m final and Paola Pineda was just .10 short of it, finishing 13 in the prelims.

 

And Silver in the team event, not that far from the Brits, which confirms this team can try for bigger things.

Did Australia go to the wrong step of the podium during the medal ceremony for team event? I always assumed that the bronze medalists were on the on right hand side with silver medalists on the left hand side.

Maha Amer concluded the dives with a run-up; now she will only have two stationary dives. I would say the historic path to the gold medal is taking the route of Egypt.
