Hah! This very minute I put a post about that in another thread!  Only on pay TV here. :(

The same here. Although Canal+ opened an OTT last month, which has 30 days of free trial, so some way it can be accessed free here for now. And the good thing is that in this OTT the sport pack is not only Canal+ Sport (4 channels + nSport + Canal+Now which is used only when other channels are occupied + main Canal+ available for sport events only in this pack) but also Eleven Sports (all 4 channels) and Sportklub and Fightklub (which biggest, only one in fact, plus is Inside the D magazine as they make terrible shit with modern pentathlon, totally ruining the coverage, if any).

Like Darts it’s a sport which used to be played only by people with a cigarette glued to the corner of their mouths and a dink on the table beside them.

Unlike Darts, it’s been in multiple international major multi-sports games :p

It’s actually interesting that Darts haven’t made it onto the program of any of these events yet. I have no clue why that is, but it has to do with the U.K. pretty much having a monopoly on the sport.

Used to be, but it has spread gradually.  30 years ago people in Belgium & Holland could pick up British TV, so they started playing & have even produced World Champions. Now it is international, although not as much as snooker. Anywhere there are bored drinkers, basically.

Can anybody explain why Spain doesn’t have HD television or live-streams (which are basically standard for all sporting events now, including those in Africa and Oceania)? There’s nothing more annoying than watching replays of the 2018 Mediterranean Games or 2019 World Roller Games, and feeling like your watching an event from 2003.

Same feeling every single year during the Vuelta a España and other big cycling races in Spain  I'm half expecting to see Federico Bahamontes cycle along when watching Spanish races.

Belgium has produced world champions? WDF doesn't count, I'm talking about the serious ones only :p

I doubt it'll ever get big outside the current countries. They're desperately trying to make it grow in Germany, but much like in the Netherlands that's mostly just filled with a toxic audience.
