Just curious, does anyone watch MLS?

I used to watch it when there was really nothing else on and Eurosport still showed it, but nowadays I don't :p

But that's more because of it being football than because of it being the MLS, to be fair.

How surprising. Trying to impede an investigation results in a small fine instead of punishment when you're a filthy rich club :d

Meanwhile in Poland Stal Mielec (2x champions in the 70s) returned to top flight after 24 years of absence. 1974 World Cup top scorer Grzegorz Lato played for them back them as well as three other members of the WC team (Kasperczak, Szarmach, Domarski).

The David O'Leary Leeds team form 17-19 years ago was one of the most fun and enjoyable teams i have ever watched. They had such heart and even after all those years i can probably name the starting team. Something i can't do for modern clubs, because the players now are so unlikable and bratty.. Viduka, Kewell, Bowyer, Mills, Bakke, Allan Smith, Harte, Ferdinand, Robbie Fowler...

    • @hckošice, even though Tomankova lost, she had a good fight against Costa, I think soon she and Babulfath will be the stars of -48kg.

    • Yeah, we have such a strong crop of Juniors, that we can’t take them all. They all have exciting trajectories but to predict what Junior swimmers will is always difficult. Better to let them all swim together at Juniors than rocketing them all up to seniors and swimming a prelim and going home.
    • Hanlon is the most unlucky, in my opinion. Aside from relay cover, she's the 50m champ and they made a point of including consideration for those events being in LA for the other discretionary picks. Essentially she has the same case for selection as Max Morgan (albeit without the trajectory right now).   Blocksidge's form was way off this week (compared to her previous bests). Obviously being still young you could put that down to relative inexperience. Still, she has World and European Juniors that she could still be selected for this summer. There's an argument that performing well at those might be as beneficial as going to Singapore.   That said, I'm happy that they did take a bunch of discretionary picks. That's not always been the case.
