IOC member HRH Princess Haya is seeking asylum in Germany after running away from her husband in Dubai. Her husband, Sheikh Mohammed, 69, is vice-president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, as well as leader of the Emirate of Dubai. He has six wives and 23 children.

If I remember right Sir Peter Snell did the 800/1500m double and won both events to establish himself as one of the greatest middle distance runners in history. Absolute legend.
