And they failed. Italy stays 2nd. :yikes:

Wow. I would never expect that!

France scored quite decently. We have a lot of strong teams still to come: :USA :SUI :BRA :GBR and :UKR can score more than 246 points. :TPE scored 250. :NED :KOR and :GER could potentially kick :ITA and :FRA out of the Olympics. Not so confident about Netherlands, but South Korea and Germany have a real chance of scoring over 246, and this could mean France might be out as a team.

I will play safe and only consider specific conditions for hopes of Olympic qualification so far: a team score over 248 points, an individual score of over 15 in any apparatus and a total all-around score of over 78.

So, let's check who are the Olympic hopefuls so far

Team:
:TPE

Apparatus:
:ISR Artem Dolgopyat (Floor)
:IRL Rhys McClenaghan (Pommel horse)

All-around:
:ITA :KAZ :FRA :ISR :AZE :NOR :VIE :AUT :HUN

And what about Spain? I was confident they could qualify before reading you

:ESP :TUR have really good teams. Especially Turkey with Arican and Onder has two all around specialist who will easily qualify for the AA-finals.

My prediction for Tokio:

Japan, Russia, China already qualified

USA, Switzerland, Ukrain, GB, Brazil, Taipei for sure

Spain, Turkey likely

Last spot: Germany, Italy or Korea
