Huge opportunity for China. I think this is their first time competing in team eventing. Even back in 2008 they only competed with an individual.

Actually China competed both team eventing and jumping in Tokyo OG. Last time partially thanks to Japan’s host quota  and we lost one major rival on qualifiers but this time we won totally by ourselves. But still we already won over Japan on Tokyo OG and we just did it once again. I won’t say our competence already surpassed Japan but they really did badly under pressure (as I expected).

I completely forgot about 2020. Trying to remember historic results when the most recent was all I needed .
