Women's Volleyball FIVB Olympic Qualification Tournaments 2023

Recommended Posts

Yeah, Dominican Republic is a very good team, capable of beating many A list teams. It will be threeway battle, but other teams like Netherlands could make this tournament even more exiting.

The Dutch team was above expectation in the last two matches of the EuCh.
Probably not enough for direct qualification now, but promising for next year’s sprint for World `Ranking points.

if there will be some upsets, it's going to be :NED beating :CHN and/or :JPN beating :TUR

I think :TUR is very safe and will easily win all matches. The second quota will be decided between :BRA and :JPN, the last match of their group.

Turkey aren’t unbeatable. They had lots of trouble playing Belgium (without their star player). The victories over Italy and Serbia were deserved, but narrow, and these matches could quite easily have gone the other way.

Although I also think Turkey will win the group, I didn't see anything impressive from them, honestly. I won't be surprised if they lose a game here.

I still think it all depends on how Vargas wakes up

if she comes down the bed with the wrong foot, there's no Santarelli or Karakurt or Gunes that can save them from a bad loss

For polish grup for me Italy still could take a lead in this group. Second from U.S. Polish team play really bad at EChamps. Thailand and Germany could make a suprise.
