Kinda hope they did not...I mean, come on. It just makes the entire sport look ridiculous if someone competes who doesn't even have the very basics under control.

Imagine the road cycling world championships where someone from some exotic nation is competing (because he is from some exotic nation) who can barely make a turn, or stay upright.

Yeah Michael Rasmussen also didn't have much of a genius time trial when he was fighting for the Tour de France podium, but all these people at least are able to cycle and these are incidents
