Team event in modern pentathlon was the only one that I hoped will make it, but no... Perhaps they want to kick out MP eventually, so they don't want to give them gifts now.

In Sydney 2000 we had only 7 mixed events (6 from equestrian, 1 from badminton) and now this.. Mixed events are the future?

Aaah, this explains it. Modern penathlon team event is obviously too rural.

Just kicking out equestrian would've made the entire Olympics significantly more youthful as well

Average age in the equestrian is younger than any other sport...
