First few competitions are over.

Wisla men's individual: Timi Zajc

Wisla men's team: Poland

Hinterzarten mixed team: Germany

Hinterzarten women's individual: Sara Takanashi

Hinterzarten men's individual: Karl Geiger*

*Gregor Schlierenzauer finished second by only 0,4 points, would have been his first real win since he won a SGP competition in September 2015.

Adam Malysz says he's been contacted by people from 'Project Harrachov' in attempt to save the hill complex from becoming a wildlife resort. They last hosted a World Cup event in 2014 and it's been in the doghouse ever since.

  Talk about going downhill in five years!

This is so sad to see... I used to go skiing there as a child. The ski hill was right next to the ski jumping one, was totally intact.

Possible, but not logical: a friend saw this guy in the lift of the Bergisel hill a few days ago and Okabe has retired a while back :p

:GEO has been building a program silently. They actually have 2 jumpers with quotas for the 2020 YOG. Unfortunately, they haven’t meet the minimum requirements yet.

the same goes for :EST (the most successful so far), :HUN (also have 2020 YOG jumpers), and :LAT (world championships jumpers and YOG jumpers)
