Federer91 2,793 Posted September 4, 2019 #11 Share Posted September 4, 2019 Wow, the next alpine season is going to be very strange - i won't have who to root against. He could be a great guy, but definitely overachieved for me. Not sad he is finally retiring. If only now a speedster can win the Big Globe (though probably Pinturault)
dcro 10,210 Posted September 5, 2019 #12 Share Posted September 5, 2019 First of all, congratulations on your amazing and inspiring career. You wrote one of the biggest and most impressive chapters in alpine skiing history. It was truly an honor to race against you. Of course you didn’t leave us a lot of space on the podiums and your globes and victories show how hard it was to beat you. But on the other hand, it forced us to push our own limits to become better skiers and better athletes. Faivre being salty? #banbestmen

Jan Linha 590 Posted October 5, 2019 #19 Share Posted October 5, 2019 talented alpine skier JAN ZABYSTŘAN has broken his hip during one of the last trainings in Chile. According to X-Ray after coming back to Czech there is a small visible part broken. It does not limit him much. But he needs at least 1 month without any serious training including 2 weeks without any training. Still he does not give up to start his season in Levi - slalom. After last season's promissing results in WC and especially 15th place at WCH Combined he might be able to collect points in WC on kinda regular basis. Hopefully he will recover soon. Wumo 3,001 Posted November 26, 2019 #20 Share Posted November 26, 2019 (edited) Ragnhild Mowinckel is not coming back this season after she has sustained a new injury to her knee ligament during a training session. It's the same injury she sustained during a training run at the World Cup Finals in Andorra in March.
