Italy defeats Russia in Men's epee, which likely secures an Olympic spot for them. It's over for us... (unless Ukraine loses the SF and then the bronze medal match)

Italy is doing a very impressive job of securing their Olympic spot after that lost QF against Ukraine. It does seem like both Hungary and Italy got unlucky with their draw, because Ukraine is almost unbeatable at this WCh.

Italy just destroyed Korea for the 5th place at the end of the day...we just limit the damage, but this is still not a good result overall...

 

@Vektor I'm sure France will take Ukraine down to earth again later this afternoon...

I mean you just basically qualified for the Olympics.  You just have to make sure to be ahead of us at most of the WC events, you will be in Tokyo.
