Bearas 359 Posted January 8, 2023 #2 Share Posted January 8, 2023 2023 The Ocean Race started in Alicante today with in-port race. This year it's very important for Lithuania, as it's a first time Lithuanian team is competing in the race. Lithuania represented by Ambersail 2 crew with the skipper Rokas Milevičius (2012 Olympics) who previously finished 2nd in Ocean Race with Dutch team back in 2015. Jinzha 512 Posted March 17, 2023 #7 Share Posted March 17, 2023 Fifth European title for Bouwmeester and the first one since returning from her pregnancy. It's been very impressive how quickly she has regained her fitness. Another medal in Paris is definitely a possibility for her.

phelps 6,528 Posted April 10, 2023 #10 Share Posted April 10, 2023 so, sooner or later it had to happen... better now than in more important regatta. Caterina Banti & Ruggero Tita lost their first event since the 2020 Worlds (in January 2020) and they lost in style, they didn't even make the podium (they finished 4th) and got beaten by not 1, but 2 different Italian crews... focusing on the America's Cup boat definitely doesn't have a good influence on Ruggero Tita's performance on the Nacra boat. Hope he won't sacrify an (easy) Olympic back-to-back to pursue the dream of a trophy Italy will never be capable of winning. Josh
