Of course doesn't go with their A team in Athletics and Swimming which account for more than half of the events here. It will be interesting to see if Brazil can get closer to USA in the medal table at next year's Paralympics. Other than losing almost half of its gold medals compared to 2019 (the biggest drop here), there aren't many changes in the top 10. did very good at home, and seems in a good position to do the same in Barranquilla. Even if previous host lost a position in the rankings, it won much more medals than in 2019, which shows the legacy of those Games.
