Kidding of course  I do dislike it there as well though, I just don't see how a regular match in a league where every team plays 82 (!!) matches absolutely 100% super duper NEEDS to have a winner. Even for smaller leagues or championships, it kind of makes it feel like they're creating tension when there is no reason to have tension.

 

Oh well, to each their own. I can also see how it has an upside for people.

The extra point rule (3 for regular time win, 2 for Extra Time/penalties win, 1 for Extra Time/penalties loss, 0 for Regular Time loss) can work only when you have the head-2-head result as main tie-breaker. In this case every match of a Preliminary phse group will count, because when you will have teams with same amount of points, it will be solved easily, the winner of their respective match will be favored.

 

Thanks to this every match will count, every team will try to win in regular time rather than losing on penalties and taking to the opponent a big advantage (no more 0-0 boring tactics).
