As per their Olympic rules, South Africa won't be accepting continental quotas (especially not reallocated continental quotas), That means the next best non-Egyptian athlete from Africa is athlete from Mauritius.

Again the reallocated quota would go to Amro El Geziry. The continental qualifiers have priority over the world rankings.

Well there are at least another 8 athletes in front of him in the rankings, so unfortunately, it is very unlikely for him to qualify.

according the qualification system:Six (6) quota places will be allocated via the Pentathlon World Ranking List of 1 June 2016 to the first six (6) athletes not already qualified through the above competitions. If one or more of the six (6) athletes has already qualified at a Continental Championships, the 2015 World Cup Final, the 2015 UIPM World Championships, or the 2016 UIPM World Championships, the athletes ranked 7th and thereafter according to the UIPM Pentathlon World Ranking List (as of 1 June 2016) will be considered qualified by the Pentathlon World Ranking instead.

With only two athlets by nation allowed, I'll rank Petroni 3rd in the picking order.

Two athletes for NOC will start in Rio, but the qualification is possible for more - until 15th June coaches have to choose, then there will come the reallocation.

I wrote to our federation,and they told me that international federation on saturday in moscow officialized with a document the names of the qualified athlets,and Petroni is officially qualified.
