Haha thank you :clap::bowdown:

For :SWE I would say Team Edin. He has won everything except GOLD in Olympics.

Van Der Poel would be a joy too and yes Ice hockey for men. But since the best aren’t participating this is not important.

So Team Edin and Nils Van Der Poel. :clap:

Roland Fischnaller

Dominik Paris

Dorothea Wierer, an individual medal.

Sui Wenjing and Han Cong of Figure Skating Pairs Gold medal

ehm...

The whole life dream...

but I believe...one day, one day ... maybe distant day...but that one day I will see this at the Olympics...

and then the whole population of the country will die from drinking

It would be fun to see Charles Hamelin win an individual medal in short track in his final olympics. Also Max Parrot winning a gold after beating cancer or a gold from one of our ice hockey teams.

Maryna Gąsienica - Daniel in giant slalom.

:POL never had an olympic medal in Alpine skiing yet.

Irene Schouten in speedskating, because I like her a lot.

Sjinkie Knegt in shorttrack, because he still misses one medal and because he recovered from severe burns. Last weekend there was a documentary about Sjinkies fire accident with intense images on Dutch TV. I got even more respect for him.

The 2 athletes I was pulling hardest for 4 years ago were Jessie Diggins and John Shuster.  And that will be the case again this time around.  Fully plan on pulling an all-nighter to watch the individual sprints!

    • I will do my best to organise a pairs competition also involving nations from the 4 teams that are eliminated in the first half of the team competition along with the lowest ranked individual nations at the halfway point (end of session 2) to form 8 pairs. Pairs will be balanced so that the highest ranked nation in the competition will be paired with the lowest ranked nation, second highest with the second lowest and so on. All of that will be based on the individual ranking at the halfway point.   This way every nation will have at least interest in some event until the end of the 3rd session.   I will probably base it closely on @mrv86‘s proposed rules, and have sprints every 3 rounds of votes. The pairs with most medals from those 3 rounds get the points along with an extra bonus for medal and points doubles.   I do only have 1 day to organise this now so I can’t promise anything though.
