Sweden is playing crap right now. They can’t score for their life right now

Oh come on, you can't play perfectly for 100% of the match, you are doing as well as you possibly could. There was never even a moment of doubt that Sweden had this in bag. Now please don't throw away your match against Portugal to rest your players in the final round before the QF, that would be quite bad for us.

Good match from our guys after all. But qf is impossible now. I just hoping we will manage somehow to finish on third place to have chance for OQT.

Apparently players from Cape Verde had problems with their beds in Sweden. The beds collapsed under their weight. "We transferred them immediately, but the bad aftertaste remained," said Nilton Delgado, who is helping newcomers from Cape Verde at the World Cup, to Swedish Aftonbladet. As he added, the beds of six handball players collapsed. "It's true that we don't have a big budget and the hotel is among the cheaper ones, but what happened was shameful. I don't know what the hotel staff was thinking, to offer the guests, who are two meters tall and weigh a hundred kilograms, beds intended for older children."

But that's not all. Problems with beds occurred in Poland too!

"The beds in our hotel are wide, but the problems were caused by mattresses that were too hard. Of course, the hardness of these is a matter of judgment and habit, but most of us asked for particularly soft mattresses," Norwegian player Tobias Groendahl told one of Norway's biggest newspapers, Dagbladet. His compatriot Sander Sagosen also had similar problems in Krakow, where the first part of the WC was played: "The mattresses were too hard and we can only hope that the mattresses in the new hotel in Katowice will be more comfortable and that we will be able to sleep well."

The referees made a huge mistake in the last 10 minutes when the Denmark player scored a goal after obvious 4 steps ,and when Ivano balic protested the referee gave the bench 2 min suspension ,I'm not saying Croatia must have won if the referee didnt make that mistake but when the game ends in a draw any ball could have made a huge difference.

Best game in the tournament till now though and had a world cup final vibes.

the traditional scenario that will happen Iceland and Sweden will be a very close match and it'll end in a tie then Denmark will defeat Egypt and we'll play Sweden , the match will be close till dying minutes and Sweden will win , i know these scenarios very well :d

Croatia and Slovenia with best chances to finish as the two best numbers three, so I expect they will qualify for the OQT. Unfortunately the surprising Dutch team lost against Norway, which means they have no chances anymore to finish top 2 (they'll never win against Germany on Saturday).

why Norway at the same level with Germany and they even have much better results than them recently , so Norway might defeat Germany and if u beat Germany then u can qualify , u were leading over Norway by 4 goals after the end of 1st half and Germany doesn't have a player with the quality of Sagosen , so everything can happen

    • I'm attempting to create a medal projector for the 2026 Olympics. Instead of just listing the top 3 favourites I wanted to give a percentage athletes have to win a medal. My first events completed were downhill, here are the top 10.   Men's Downhill Athlete Gold Silver Bronze Total  Marco Odermatt 17% 14% 10% 41%  Franjo Von Allmen 17% 11% 9% 37%  Alexis Monney 10% 9% 9% 28%  Miha Hrobat 8% 9% 8% 25%  Cameron Alexander 7% 9% 7% 23%  Vincent Kriechmayr 7% 7% 6% 20%  Justin Murisier 6% 7% 6% 19%  Dominik Paris 5% 5% 6% 16%  Daniel Hemetsberger 5% 4% 5% 14%  James Crawford 3% 4% 5% 12%     Women's Downhill Athlete Gold Silver Bronze Total  Sofia Goggia 27% 15% 12% 54%  Ester Ledecka 13% 11% 9% 33%  Cornelia Huetter 12% 11% 8% 31%  Federica Brignone 11% 12% 11% 34%  Lauren Macuga 9% 9% 8% 26%  Lara Gut-Behrami 6% 8% 9% 23%  Breezy Johnson 5% 7% 7% 19%  Corinne Suter 5% 7% 6% 18%  Laura Pirovano 2% 3% 5% 10%  Marta Bassino 2% 3% 4% 9%   In order to prevent my computer from dying I only ran the simulation 1000 times so no tenth of a percentage is listed. For nations with many athletes I just took the four highest ranked athletes as per event rules and removed the rest. Eventually as NOCs announce their teams I can refine it properly.   Any surprises?

    • They did what the Italians should do, but unfortunately Giacomel has been too inconsistent this season. He has great performances but makes inexplicable mistakes. In any case, Italian biathlon without Vittozzi in great form can count on single podiums at major events at best, nothing more.
