Apart Gu fantastic effort and completely deserved title jeez, this was the most boring final of the games. I really fought hard not to fall asleep... very below level compeition, but the strong wind played it part for sure, it must be said too

I think Sildaru almost touched the gold on Slopetyle on her 2nd round. But mysteriously her ski dropped after an almost successful landing.

It happened to her twice these Olympics, so I'm guessing she had some equipment issues. She didn't seem quite at her best in general tbh.

The men's ski cross does seem to be highly competitive (unsurprising, of course), so that's looking good. Nobody is far behind at all, except for Bachsleitner, who one may assume simply had a big mistake or something (I didn't watch the seeding run).

Seeding isn't the be all and end all in ski cross, especially on the men's side. It's not uncommon to see someone with a mid-20s seed going to semis or even finals.
