  1. Past hour
  2. But it’s worse. They added a non-qualified guy instead for two qualified girls in the heptathlon. So now there’s 25 men and only 22 women. Why not put the two French women in heptathlon instead? Sorry here in Sweden we are mad on Mayer participation too. As much for the Swedish and Austrian ladies.
  3. Meyer shouldn’t be there. Everybody has to qualify so don’t see a reason why he should be exempted. beside that he could try achieving the norm somewhere else, eg in Ratingen
  4. In fairness, at least Mayer was just added to the field. Nobody has really lost out there. The heptathlon issue is far worse, because of the knock on effect on Sweden and Austria. Not to mention the French athletes who've missed out because their own federation is incompetent. Just a mess all round.
  5. There were few countries which didn’t withdraw their athletes in time , another example is Germany in several disciplines. It’s just taking away the chance from someone who was hoping to participate. I wish the same thing happens to those countries , especially France and Germany in Road to Paris. actually EAA needs to think about how to punish those federations, money will not do. But let’s say start with -10 points per missed withdrawal at next Team championship.
  6. Yes it is. And France put in Mayer instead. He isn’t even qualified.
  7. So many stories that make me very glad people are allowed to choose to end their suffering, instead of spending weeks, months or even years longer in mental and/or physical hell just because someone else decided they have to. Coincidentally someone in my area (I don't know them personally) already knows they're going to die next week on Thursday. The only other option would be to wait for potentially another year until the cancer, which has spread everywhere, slowly eats them away while not being able to do anything but keep laying in bed.
  8. Another injury in the semis, I hate this stupid tournament.
  9. I imagine it is something to do with the heptathlon entries debacle.
  10. Today
  11. Still somehow I thought polo was more likely than squash and cricket lol
  12. No Indian in final of air rifle men .. our olympic bound shooter babuta shots 635 (RPO )and Sandeep missed final by 0.1
  13. They might lose this afternoon, but the two victories this morning weren’t even close to being disputed
  14. Viewing this with little interest but I used to have the impression that Canada was traditionally stronger than the US in what many here would call Commonwealth type sports like cricket, rugby and (field) hockey. Seems to have changed. Maybe due to changing immigration patterns.
  15. Good hitting session for Świątek in R4 as she beat Potapova 6-0 6-0 in 39 mins
  16. If you believe in conspiracies, Ireland already won 2 women's quotas this morning, so they can lose the W50 kg one in the afternoon.
