Grassmarket 2,757 Posted September 20, 2020 #651 Share Posted September 20, 2020 One of the commentators mentioned that Pogkačar’s mother is a teacher of French, so clearly he is really a kind of honorable Frenchman.
heywoodu 13,557 Posted September 20, 2020 #652 Share Posted September 20, 2020 Bennett dotting the i's and crowning his deserved green jersey in the best way possible. If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! With not Tour of California this year, everything is set for a Norwegian winner next year! Bernal and Pogacar both won it in the year they turned 20, this Norwegian guy was already 22 when he won it ... I think the 2nd place for Aleotti (Born in 1999) and the 3rd place for Van Wilder (Born in 2000) were more impressive, not to mention that Pidcock and Evenepoel are much more likely to „challenge“ Pogacar anyways. It is much easier to just go for stage victories. Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached. justony 444 Posted September 21, 2020 #659 Share Posted September 21, 2020 Hey guys, yes I am still alive. In Slovenia we have again our classic problem. Some of them are extremely happy for Pogačar, others are truly upset over another "last time trial" defeat from Roglič (same as last time for 3rd place against Froome). So, nothing new on Sunny side of Alps, nation is divided once more. Olympian1010
heywoodu 13,557 Posted September 21, 2020 #660 Share Posted September 21, 2020 Police have searched the hotel where Arkea-Samsic was staying Wednesday, apparently specifically the room of the Quintana's. According to the Marseille public prosecutor they found "numerous health products including medicine...and especially a method that could be considered doping." Rumour has it they've found needles and stuff to 'enrich' blood. This is a potential bombshell, I wonder if it's got something to do with panic after his injury and trying to find a....different way to quickly get back to his flying levels of pre-COVID-19.
