    2018 Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist and Rio 2016 Bronze Medalist won’t be attending the world championships because an injury (nerve damage) caused him to miss the British Champs. This comes after a neck injury that put him out of the game for half of last and the first half of this year. Plus, he’s been dealing with serious mental health issues as well, as all athletes would in his position.

    Those of us, though I’m a very lazy member, that curate all Olympics and multi-sports games information on Wikipedia . It was a special Wiki project set up in the early 2000s. The most dedicated Olympics fans can be found there too (as well as here).

    Quite a lot of Albanians take Italian in school. They have close ties to Italy from what I’ve read. Germany too.

    Claiming that the white oppressors are better then the Black population is. For thousands of years blacks lived off that the land without an issue. The Europeans were the main catalyst for the issues.

    That’s a pretty racist statement. They farmed those lands for thousands of years. They may not farm the “European” way, but they knew what they were doing.

    For many Zimbabweans retribution. The whites took their land and resources, and abused them for a century. Mugabe was a big proponent of Africa for Africans.

    In most cases it wasn’t their ancestors. Mugabe stripped the Whites of land in the early 2000s. That was only 20 years after the end of apartheid in Zimbabwe.

    I mean they seriously oppressed these people for 150 years. They locked up anyone who spoke out against them, and didn’t ever treat Black Africans as equals. In a way, I’d consider stripping them of their land as reparations.

    No. The order (I think) was 2019 Euro Games, 2019 Universaide, World Aquatics Championships, 2019 EYOF, Urban Games are next week, Beach Games In October, Youth Olympics in January (but most qualifications are done).

    The torch is the same design as the one used at Buenos Aires 2018, Napoli 2019, Lima 2019, etc. I’m getting really tired of this basic af torch design. I’m not even going to bother with finding a photo of it. Torch relay will begin on the 17th.

    Is Jair Tjon en Fa anywhere near Olympic qualification? He can keep up with the best at least, and he does a very unpredictable riding style.

    Paul is legit at least. I’m really hoping for a medal from him Tokyo. In my opinion he’s one of the best raw talents out threes right now.
