  1. Fair points. However, when your current leader lost the popular vote (as in the actual vote) by 3.5 million votes, it might suggest the system needs to changed or tweaked. The US can’t continue like it is right now. Chambers of Congress that pass nothing and actively work against each other. A president that flip-flops his opinions daily. A president that has one of the lowest approval ratings of all time. A Supreme Court controlled by one party. I mean I study a lot of world history, and this is generally how democracy begins to unravel.
  2. It will be the venue for Judo as well. I believe it’s generally been used mainly for national Sumo tournaments in the past.
  3. Yes this one was urban enough . I’d say there’s something wrong with the league (system) if a team could win by 100 on 3 occasions, but loose by a singular point on 4 occasions. I would investigate the cause to make sure the better team wins in the future. I would also accept the result of that Championships (unless I’d enough support not to)
  4. To be perfectly honest. I don’t watch enough Tennis to get this analogy, sorry. It’s not Urban or youthful enough for me to understand.
  5. Trump’s presidency in a nutshell right there. I agree with what you said, but the problem is that white voters tend to only see white male candidates as qualified. I’m sorry but Biden and Buttigieg do not have the cleanest records. Neither does Kamala or Warren, but it in terms of the what this country needs they’re better choices. We’ve tried white males for 300 years and this country has gotten marginally better. All I’m saying is that it’d be nice if our legacy wasn’t so white. I don’t have anything against a white male, I just think it’s time to try something different. All the candidates left in this race our qualified, so why not go for a candidate that’s a true reflection of our country.
  6. I can’t wait for the mostly liberal Patriots fan base to deal with loving Antonio Brown, but also supporting the #metoo movement. Thank God I’m Lions fan and our players only get in trouble for assaulting players on the field
  7. Well I’m am by all means a shity person, so they’re not wrong. The difference is that I try with all my little power to fix what I have done. I try to with my writings, my poems, my political theory, my wit, and my vote to make this country a better place for everyone. So I am a shity person, but at least I’m willing to clean my shit stain of the rug.
  8. Not really because Buttigieg (cheers for being able to spell that) has a failed record of letting his city’s police department get away with brutality. That said, he has tried repeatedly to make for in, and has really improved the economic situation of South Bend. I think economics is the social science of the rich, so that doesn’t really do much for, but I do does move a lot of potential voters. It would be cool to see America elect its first openly gay president, but I don’t think he’s the right choice. You raise a fair point about white male candidates being “more qualified”. However, it’s easier to make it in this country as a white male. I use my privilege constantly and it kills me. I don’t have to jump through the same hoops as the blacks students in my classes. I don’t get labeled as a robbery suspect because of my skin color. People don’t deny their services to me because of my religion or sexual orientation. So, yeah race matters. When powerful women like Kamala and Harris make complaints against Trump for instance, it’s often labeled negatively because of their tone, or because they don’t dress “respectfully”, or “hold their tongue” on the matter, or “make up lies to deceive voters”. Kamala is probably the most qualified candidate in the debate. Warren has been around for the last half century and has unmatched wisdom (maybe Sanders or Biden could match her). It will always be an issue of race, religion, sexual orientation, gender in this country because the thing Americans fear the most is change. We’re to god damn lazy to look a problem head on and fix it. The Democratic Party often likes to act like we live in a post-racial and post-sex society and that’s just wrong. The Civil Rights Movement wasn’t supposed to be the see all end all of fixing this countries race issues. The Women’s March didn’t free woman from the burden of gender disparity. And the fact that Trump might be relected only shows what a lost cause this country is. I don’t blame you or hate you for your views. I just think they might not be the most accurate coming from one of the whitest countries on the planet.
  9. I’ve fixed the entry lists for 3x3 Basketball. Still no entry lists for BMX Freestyle.
  10. @heywoodu I don’t know where Emmen, NED is, but the para-Road Cycling World Championships start there tomorrow if that interests you.
  11. Plus, it’s hard to run a country with the temper of a 2 year old . He wasn’t huge on social media by the way. It was more than he did well on TV and made a name for himself. Democratic candidates have been much better at running social media campaigns with the exception of Hilary.
  12. Also something to look for, but not really in the 2020 election if Trump wins is Calexit. After the 2016 election California independence was polling at 35%-40% favorability among Californians. If Trump wins there’s a small chance California becomes the first state to vote on leaving union since the civil war. It’s a bill I’ve already signed the petition supporting.
  13. Well he “won” that election. It’s because of the fucking electoral college that the right candidates have lost elections. We’ve given to much power to Iowa, Ohio, Florida, and New Hampshire. The minute we get rid of the electoral college will be the end of classic American conservatism. It’s a day I wait for eagerly. If the DNC loses this election it’s on them. I really don’t understand voting for Trump unless you’re a racist, sexist, or otherwise deplorable person.
  14. The fact that white male candidates are the only ones with huge majorities against Trump is just embarrassing. It also shows that the GOP may not be the only ones with gender/race issues... I’d prefer Sanders over Biden. I prefer Harris, Warren, or Castro over Sanders. At least Sanders matches me politically. Plus, the election hasn’t gotten too ugly yet, so that’s positive. Definitely looking forward to the first single night debate.
  15. Well the NCAA makes a lot of money off using their names on merchandise. The argument is that these athletes are destroying themselves for an education and the least we could do is pay them too. I very conflicted by it, but I’m not a fan of the NCAA. If this law forces California schools to create a rival league, I’ll support it.
  16. I quite liked the dios de Los muertos/ Sugar Scull look from the last Winter Olympics. That one might be my favorite skin suit of all time.
  17. I quite liked it. At least their politicians are still people to a degree. It’s also a nice show of solidarity with their supporters who mostly voted against Brexit.
  18. Yes, it can be confusing, but the color coding helps. The main problem with all those different routes set on the same top rope is that reading the route can become really tricky. That’s generally my biggest problem along with an overall lack of strength because I just haven’t pushed myself enough. My gym is more about the boulders anyway, which is a shame because I like route climbing a lot more.
  19. I’ve been getting better about going to the climbing at least once a week, and I’m really hoping to see some improvement in my Climbing. Yesterday I topped a very 5.9 (maybe 5.9+), which is around a low intermediate difficulty on the Yosemite Climbing scale (different gyms/states/regions/countries use different scales). It actually was a pretty terrible night of climbing for me, but that was the route I most wanted to top, so oh well. Here’s a picture of the route (it’s the white holds): Green is the hand start hold, blue dots mark all valid holds, Red is the top hold
  20. One of the road cyclists made this very well done highlight real of the race. He should honestly look for a career in broadcasting.
  21. @Dragon Is there any chance Scotland or Wales leave Great Britain if Brexit really happens, especially a no-deal Brexit?Their representatives seem to mostly be pro-EU. Also the Gaelic and Welsh songs sung in Parliament after the black rod business, seems to make it look as though the United Kingdom may not be that United.
  22. No one water skis or wakeboards on the sea. Most countries use rowing or canoeing venues for training. Recently because of new cable technology, there’s been a lot of Wakeboard Park contests in small waterways or lakes within cities.
