That’s cool. If she would have landed in California I would’ve tried to get a picture of her leaving the plane myself. Also, I just remembered a really unique fact about my childhood for some reason. Before the space shuttle program was shutdown, they used to land in my home town. The sonic booms were unbelievably loud. Seeing that thing just dart across the sky and then slow down was just awesome. All of the landings I saw (2 I think) were successful thankfully.

Ok, I’m almost completely caught up on my multi-sports games results “database”. Today I need to add 2014 Comm Games and 2014 YOG and then I’ll be mostly caught up. The reason I’m posting is because there are few games that I’d like to have PDF or results book results for that I can’t find anywhere, so if anyone would be able to contribute the following that would be fantastic: 2015 Pan American Games 2015 European Games 2016 Asian Beach Games 2018 Asian Para Games Thanks in advance.

Yes but the difference is that sports like Taekwondo have electronic scoring systems, and score challenges, and a strict code of points that’s easy enough to understand. I don’t have too many problems with Artistic Gym, but Rhythmic Gym, Kata, Poomsae, Diving, Artistic Swim, etc. always have questionable and debatable scoring.

All the subjectively judged sports need to leave the Olympics. Or they need to have a much more strict judging system than “artistic impression”

It could have been better. Oh well, we’ll just settle for another Olympic gold next year

From what I’ve been able to find, it looks like the organizing committee has chosen Bornan as the “results” company. It’s the same company that made the results systems for the 2018 Mediterranean Games and 2019 African Beach Games. Their system is one of the better ones I think.

@hckosice should have had 6 athletes in Qatar, but the NOC or athletes rejected quotas for Sport Climbing and Open Water Swimming
