Time trial route reminded me a lot of Baku 2015. Hard to believe we’re seven years on from those Games. They have a special place in my heart since that was the first summer I really started following multi-sports games outside the Olympics.

I know their head of sports wanted to compete here, but I assumed they had missed out. I would assume this is a glitch of some sort, but I’ll do some more digging.

For someone who follows judo more closely…Does the Olympic champion in judo always have gold lettering on their back, or is that just a coincidence on Kransniqi’s judo-gi? I haven’t noticed it before, so that’s why I ask.
