  1. wow, sth kept me from switching to figure skating - her body language in the start gate, curiosity? No idea. The story of the Games! Even she didn`t believe this!
  2. i remember some useful Moroccan alpine skier, quite young, French-based i think - is he injured? Sth went wrong?
  3. We had also first two starts from Lebanese athletes Natacha Mohbat finished woman`s slalom 52th out of 54 skiers who completed both runs (24 athletes had DNF) with 33.41 off the pace Samer Tawk finished men`s cross-country 15km free....109th out of 116 who finished the race with 13.19,5 off
  4. i thought they were Kosovians with wild cards, maybe Portuguese... no...they were Poles i`m unable to gather any thoughts after such starts, this is far under any decency border. Great congrats to cross medallists!
  5. [hide] Women's Tournament Knockout Round February 17th - February 22nd, 2018 Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Bronze Medal Match and Gold Medal Match Quarterfinals Date & Time (GMT +9) Nation 1 T1 T2 Nation 2 February 17th 2018, h. 12:10 (16:40) Olympic Athletes from Russia 2 Switzerland February 17th 2018, h. 16:40 (12:10) Finland 2 Sweden [/hide]
  6. maybe he comes back to France but is there any world class partner? I don`t know...as Olympic champion he has the luxury of a choice, he doesn`t have to prove anything more. Beijing may be a Chinese-Russian battle
  7. but they have been the weakest of those 4, great podium
  8. best moment so far well - i didn`t cry but i felt small affection - this was amazing and so touching this is magic in sport
  9. i`m at work, i wanted to ask about this, i don`t have to Fluke Games 2018;p
  10. These olympics are reallyyy.....strange
  11. And Justyna eliminated also Oestberg...
  12. proportions between downhill and slalom were unfair
  13. Norway was far too nervous, especially that guy, congrats Russia
  14. yep, they have a future, some of their players were really good, they lacked sth in defense and a goalie plus too soft shooting. As for a non-ice hockey nation (in a way) they were really ok but uncapable of turning it into goals.
  15. i meant risking and going for gold and not "defending the bronze" mentality, i like it
  16. Japanese were quite ok with skating, passing but their shooting and sometimes "feeling of the game" was too weak
  17. you see, the answer from above (from Canadian) shows us the difference between our mentality and mentality of true winners in some way. I thought a bit "safely" as you, his answer has shown me sth...i think we`re wrong...
  18. Big drama, Fischnaller was so close...
  19. i think it`s mainly European fault and problem we ourselves...with our money...funded all of this...great, probably some of this is also US fault but only minority
  20. Stoch is a better jumper but sometimes Hula wins with him i mean that analyzing both their jumps and conditions i was a bit amazed by Stoch being ahead at the end in this contest. He was late and drifting right, he needed better wind, he didn`t get it but got high compensation pts. Hula jumped just after him, flags were silent down there, the same distance...big advantage after 1st round...and certainly compensation changed from -12 to -18 and Hula is behind even Stoch. I really believe that making a mistake, Hula also didn`t have in flight conditions adequate to deduction pts. He didn`t make kind of "skis-up" at 2/3 of his flight, i think he did it always before, very small move but i think it was giving him some meter or two. He wasn`t used to jump for olympic medals, it was too much for him but there is a margin of system mistake taking away a bronze way from him. Nevertheless - both of them dissapointed heavily. Congrats to Wellinger
  21. yeah..but u know what? I`m afraid it`s us, rich Europe decided that..to have some events in "good hours" Now the wind made it even worse but i wouldn`t blame Korea at all, corporations from US and Europe - $$$$
  22. you didn`t get me there are, from all countries but how can you be sure about this case...nevermind, it`s just not like that all attack Russians without a reason but this applies also to Poles, Americans, Georgians, Japanese and North Koreans so don`t feel "overattacked" - many of this is deserved, some not, as with all nations
  23. sure, there are only good Russians and Russians never hack websites and never cheat...good to know this is only suspicion, it doesn`t prove they were Russians...nor the other way i understand how you can feel but all of this doesn`t come from nothing. Priestupljenie i Nakazanje ;), even Fiodor knew it
